We have established our own, in-house non-destructive testing (NDT) facility to allow in-depth checks to be made on the cross-sectional metallic content of wire ropes. These are often discarded before the end of their useful life, simply because of poor recording of levels of usage.

Using our testing facility has helped to increase the expected lives of wire ropes by up to 500%, leading to significant savings for operators by reducing unnecessary replacements.
